Had want and needed at a great price

I have been in this store a few times and each time employees have been helpful. This review is for 7/6/26. Women entering a male dominated place of business alone are often dismissed, but that has not been the case at Michael’s. My purpose was to get my son’s expensive key fob for his truck fixed. It had been malfunctioning by rolling down windows and unlocking on its own, etc. Jordan determined my son had “icked” it up with some liquid. Within minutes, he had it working. When I asked how much I owed he said, “Nothing, it was 5 minutes of work.” As I was leaving, I decided to go back in to ask about my own keyless entry that I had just been making due with for a long time using only the key. Jordan had a replacement in stock. That one was pricey as expected, but fair. As a thank you, I offered to get drinks for Jordan and his two co-workers. They all politely declined. This review is my replacement for those drinks. Those three young men ensured a repeat customer and recommendations that day. Good customer service and kindness matters and should be acknowledged. 😊

The locksmith that provided repair and parts for my broken lock was very knowledgeable, skilled, thorough, and he left the work area spotless. He was also friendly and provided detailed information about the repair. I couldn’t be any happier with their quick service and now I have a working lock.

I took my car in to Michael’s Keys in Rowlett for what SHOULD have been a normal driver side door cylinder replacement. It ended up being FAR from normal. To Jay’s credit, he stuck with it.

He did not get irritated. He did not get frustrated. He didn’t even get a little bit mad. He just stuck with it and kept working until he had the job complete, even though that meant that he stayed after closing time.

A dealership, and probably most other locksmiths, would have told me to leave my car and pick it up the next day, but not Jay. He was determined that he would get the job done for me in one trip. ( He didn’t know that I live in Wills Point and leaving my car really wasn’t feasible. )

Jay is pleasant and professional. He cares about good service and his customers. To me it is well worth the 41 mile trip to get the job done professionally and right the first time. I will continue to recommend Michael’s Keys in Rowlett to family, friends and co-workers.

Michaels keys was able to cut a new key for my Japanese import after my daughter lost the key. We called a bunch of places and no one wanted to take on the challenge except Jeff. He came when he said he would and was very friendly and got it done for a very fair price. Thank you Jeff and Michael’s Keys!!

I had a large safe moved by Paul and another employee, (I can’t remember his name unfortunately). They were great. They were timely, knowledgeable, and very professional. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

My key fob was toast. They were able to replace it in under 20 minutes and they gave me a great deal.
